A team of Nepal visited ISLRTC on 27th February 2019

The main purpose of their visit was to understand the functioning of ISLRTC, taking away learning and experiences from the field which in turn will help them establish similar kinds of institutes in Nepal for the rehabilitation of persons with hearing impairment and Deafblindness. Mr. K.P. Adhikari, President of National Federation of the Deaf, Nepal, Mr. Pashupati Mahat, Under Secretary and Section Chief-Disability Right section of Government of Nepal, from Sh. Parag Namdeo, Head- Advocacy and Network Development, Sense International India and other members were the visitors. Sh. Jagdish Kumar, Sr. Consultant, Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Director, and other faculty and staff members were present during the meeting. Sh. Harish Soni, Asst. Professor gave a presentation about the core activities of ISLRTC and its functioning. The presentation was followed by an interaction with the members.
